Beretta 950B
Shortly after the introduction of the first model, the pistol was slightly redesigned. A simple spring was replaced by a heavier torsion spring, and the barrel slides were modified.
In regular production, the .25 was designated the Model 950 B, and the .22, the Model 950 CC.
There was also another version of the .22, the Model 950 CC Special. It had a longer barrel (95 mm or 3.74 inches).
Beginning in 1953, when the new small pistol began to be available on the American market, the "CC" suffix on the short version was no longer used.
For the American market, this .22 was nicknamed the "Minx" and the .25, the "Jetfire."
